My mom was just here recently after a major surgery on her neck and back and was doing ok but then we were told that you can only stay there for 3 weeks( which we weren't told) and that we had to move her to a skilled facility , which finding a good one is a joke. She and we are unhappy where she is now and feel she wouldve progreesed better if allowed to stay there a little longer. The facility itself is clean, great staff and i would recommend it. Whish she could be ovef back, currently looking for another facility, you want to feel comfortable leaving your loved one to be cared for especially when they're elderly.
We were looking to move my grandmother to this facility not that long ago. They have a wonderful set up, great staff, and an amazing therapy program! Although insurance wouldn't allow my grandmother to be moved because of not needing doctor care daily, I feel that a review for this facility is needed. The help that our family received from Katie was above and beyond! She was able to help and guide me with different issues that we were facing when she did not have to. I feel that when people from another facility help you when it is not their job definitely deserves to be recognized. I truly believe that whoever sends their family member to this facility will not be upset with their experience there. Again, thanks to Katie for all of her help!
My sister was in this place for a week recovering from a stroke she had on August 10, 2017. She was getting better, started walking and then all of a sudden started going downhill. She had blood coming from her anal area for three days, and all they did was send her back to Toledo hospital for two pints of blood on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend called it a day, and told us she would have to continue to bleed from her anal area for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until Tuesday 09/05/17 and then they would give her a colonoscopy to see what w is going on. She was in no pain on Saturday morning and by Saturday afternoon she is in severe pain. This hospital and rehabilitation facility is a joke. I'm taking matters into my hands before they end my sisters life!
Very happy with the facility. Very clean, and professional. The staff is friendly, compassionate and professional. They encourage family members to come in and visit during the process of recovery.
My wife was sent to this place after major surgery to her neck. After a couple of days she was having severe pain running through her arms and shoulders getting worse as time went on. She would call me crying in agony saying they would not respond after pushing the nurse button, one time for 40 minutes. I have been there a lot and helped her to try to get comfortable. Today she was in extreme agony crying very loud. I walked to the nurses station and said " Excuse me but you cant Hear that" while she was being ignored. I am pissed and will be seeing my attorney tomorrow. I had to leave or I know I would be in jail. I kept telling them all week something is wrong and they have done nothing but drug increase. She should be back at the hospital and they do not seem concerned. No person should be in this much pain after 7 days. This was a very difficult surgery according to the surgeon . I cant sleep worrying about her and the neglect of the nurses. It may be a pretty place but that's all it is.
