This was my go to place once I found it opened. I used to go to Flower religiously. After the experience Monday (11-13) I will not return to this place. The staff is extremely nice, but the Dr I saw, whole different story. I was experiencing EXTREME dental pain, which turned into a migraine. He did a dental block, and I'm still sore from it. He asked me what I usually receive for my migraines, he looked down his nose at me and said, "We do NOT give narcotics here." Why did he even bother asking me what works? He gave me Penicillin VK, and nothing for the pain I was in. Not even 800mg Motrin. I was honestly shocked. Like I said, NEVER will I be seen there again!
Went in with pain in my jaw so bad I couldn't sleep, and barely even think.
No real treatment. Same pain. No explanations. I guarantee I still get the bill though!
This is definitely the most apathetic and sad excuse for an emergency center that I have ever been to.
The Doctor and staff were all amazing! My son was having anaphylaxis. I ran in with him, and within seconds several nurses and the Dr. were working on him. stabilized him enough to transfer him to Toledo Hospital. One nurse called my husband, they were all amazing, providing the life saving care he needed.
Nurse walks back in with discharge papers while I am still in the same exact pain and gives me a prescription for ibuprofen and some generic antibiotics.
We were seen VERY quickly. The doctor was polite and helpful. I will go there rather than Flower (which is where I used to always go).
Lastly the doctor, who was visibly bothered by having to see me basically said he was not going to do much but try to numb it for a few hours and that i should find a dentist. He injected my gum with a miniscule amount of something in one location only and left the room.
My little guy fell and split his ear open. We only came here instead of the hospital because we were 2 minutes away. We practically walked right back. The doctor was in within 5 minutes to see him. After stitches, we were on our way in 5-10 minutes. It was a clean facility with pleasant staff. There was also a magnetic wall with fun toys to occupy him and his little sister while we waited. This will be my new first choice.
After being greeted by the lady at the desk who had no real interest in anything but her computer, I was taken back by a nurse who was even less concerned with anything but paperwork and vitals. No empathy at all.
This place is seriously disgraceful to ER's
