What a fun restaurant! Our booth had an old brass headboard on the back of the benches to make it look like we were sitting in bed. There was even an old red trolley car inside. The food was good - we had the famous lasagna. It was 15 layers of deliciousness! We will definitely be back! Free parking directly across the street from the restaurant.
My daughter got engaged at the restaurant and it was awesome. The manager and staff really helped us to pull off a fantastic surprise. Our waiter was amazing and took care of 25 people and was on top of his game and we never had to ask him for anything. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. I hate to say, I loved this place when I was younger but just recently attended for a birthday party and was horribly disappointed. The salad was limp like it had been sitting out for days. Not only was the baked ziti served cold with the cheese barely melted on top, there was a huge long black hair “baked” right inside of it. I addressed it with the server who offered to have it remade or take it off my bill, which I elected to do. I appreciated that there was an attempt made to correct the situation. I ordered the spaghetti feast which tasted like dish soap. The water tasted like chlorine, the chairs were extremely worn and felt like any moment they would break. The atmosphere was not at all like I remember (lively and fun). It was quiet, there was no music to fill the awkward silences and the staff looked less than thrilled to be there. Won’t be here again unless something major changes.
Food is pretty good, and reasonably priced. Waitress was nice but forgot a few different parts of our orders. One person in our group actually ordered coffee 3 times and never got it. There is also a funky "old building" smell in the lobby and bathrooms.
Nice atmosphere. Salad was little to be desired. No tomatoes in my salad, cheap iceberg lettuce, not tasty at all.Pasta was warm, not hot. Cheese on top was barely melted. Wait staff was short with us, like they were rushed. Tried to seat us at a table in the trolley that was barely big ending to set anything on.Overall not a good experience. Like Olive Garden way better.
