I purchased a study tool from this vendor on eBay that was missing an enormous amount of information to the point where I had to purchase a new book from a retail bookstore to replace the useless garbage they had sent me. When informing the seller of this issue, they were unwilling to take any responsibility whatsoever. Stay far far away from buying anything from this business as they are unreliable and dishonest.
I have ordered books from Discover several times. If the description says the book is is in good shape, that is the way it comes. Overall, have been very happy with all aspects. I did once get a package that was torn with some holes it it, because there were too many books for the size of the package, but the books were fine. I also appreciate the ability to put used books in their bins, that are located in several places throughout town. I work in a library, and we have discarded quite a few books, and it is nice to know that the books may be used again.
This company is a joke. You can pretty much guarantee you won’t get your book(s) until the full 14 business days (aka almost 3 weeks after you purchase). 1st time I purchased both books were not the condition they said they were in when I made my purchase but I really wanted to start reading the books so I just kept them. Thought I’d try again with kids books for Christmas, been waiting almost 2 weeks & still waiting!
I could say I’m very impressed with this company. I recently bought 3 books from Discover Books about a week ago for under $10. I didn’t pay for any shipping or handing fees and I was still provided with a tracking number on my package and it came in about a week. 2 out of 3 of my books came new and the other book was lightly used. If I would’ve bought these books from anywhere else I would have payed about $65 all together without shipping fees. I will never buy my books from any other company again. I absolutely love Discover Book’s message and I’ll recommend them to everyone I know. I’m very satsified, thank you.
I have now ordered several books from Discover Books. All have been far cheaper than anywhere else. With free shipping, how can you pass that up? All my orders have been shipped right away and have arrived usually on the early end of the estimated time. The condition of the books has been great as well. This is always my go-to site for used books.
