Been coming here for years, don't let the mixed reviews fool you. It's truly a shame reading through them. This store and the people working there are top notch. Massive selection while it does vary on the day, go back in a few days and you will find what you need. Every fish I have purchased has been quality. This is for sure a hobbyist store but they are more than patient with my many questions over the years and have recommended me fantastic products. I know you can't make everyone happy but they go above and beyond. Its wonderful being able to find exact species I am looking for without having to order online. Their inventory is truly amazing and I have no idea how they keep up with it. Plenty of work goes into making the store run every day and I appreciate that immensely. I can't recommend this store enough and I will be shopping here for many years to come.
I've been here a handful of times now, and from what I can tell, they are the best freshwater fish store in the area. They have a great selection of fish and respectable prices for what they offer. I don't have enough knowledge to comment on the saltwater selection, but they seem to have quite a few options to choose from on that front, as far as my untrained eye can tell.
If there was one "tip" I would give to new customers: don't be afraid to ask. The staff seems to let customers go off on their own. That might seem off putting to new customers, but I've found that if you ask, they are happy to answer and explain. I definitely look forward to many more trips to Pampered Pets.
I bought 6 rose line sharks at a $150.00 and 5 of them died within a week, while none of my other fish did including two electric blue rams bought at the same time. And was told pretty much , to bad about your luck. They have a 24 hour warranty, while most all other places offer a 10-14 day warranty. If their sick what's the odds their going to die within 24 hours. Works out great for them. While your left with empty pockets and an empty tank.
Going to pampered pets was better than visiting an aquarium! Lots of variety. Worth visiting
First time there and I loved it the fish were amazing and didn't kill my wallet
