This is perhaps one of Toledo's best kept secret. The museum walks you thru firefighting from bucket brigades, hand pulled pumpers, and on to motorized rugs. The newest being a Jeep rig from the 60's.
It is rumored to be in the top 5 fire museums in the country. When you figure some of the bigger cities have a bigger advantage, Toledo fire Museum should be extremely proud. Thank you!
Great place took our boy scouts there tonight very educational.
Great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. The guide was very knowledgeable about the fire department and other local history. Both of my three year olds enjoyed seeing all of the old gear and lots of firefighter/truck-related toys.
