Love how they acknowledge your presence as a customer but don't hover over your like vultures! The sales people are available to ask questions and help when your ready to help with your purchase! A little pricey but well made!
Purchased a sofa online. Came very quickly. The two guys that delivered it were awesome, wish I would've caught their names. They arrived early and were very quick. They were also very careful. Very nice and funny guys, seemed to enjoy their job. Made the experience that much better !
Received EXCELLENT customer service from Value City. After purchasing furiture and being told it would arrive on Friday, I got a call saying that part of it actually wouldn’t arrive until January 3rd or later. Frustrated, I called into the store and spoke to someone from customer service who was very nice and understanding. I chose to then go into the store and speak to a manager rather than waiting for one to call me. She was also very nice and informed me that she would do what she could to get the furniture to me on time. Not only did she succeed, but she also refunded us the delivery charge! Thanks to their efforts and kindness, my family and I will gladly continue shopping at Value City! Couldn’t be more pleased with how the situation was ultimately handled.
I would give them zero stars, if that were an option. Bought a mattress and box springs, Sealy, for which I paid $1,300. They ordered the wrong size and I didn't find out until I tried to buy sheets for it. Turns out they ordered a twin, extra long. I am 5'2" ~ clearly I don't need an extra long. Because I needed a bed right away, I agreed to take the extra long, without knowing what a problem it would be to find sheets that fit it. The mattress was supposed to come with a 10 year warranty. It's been a little over 3 years and the mattress is definitely sagging in the middle and the sides are breaking down. You can't turn the mattress over, all you can do is change sides. Both sides of the bed are soft and sagging. When I called Value City, they sent someone out who "inspected" the bed. Meaning, all he did was push on it a few times in the middle and a couple of times on the sides. Now Value City is telling me that the mattress has to be sagging a MINIMUM of 1 1/2 inches in the middle in order for anything to be done. How would that so called inspector know? He didn't have any kind of measuring device with him, so I guess he guessed how badly it is sagging. When I called the store back, because no one called me, it took almost 1/2 an hour before they could even find the information on this so-called inspection. They said too bad, so sad for you, there's nothing we can do. So basically, I paid $1300 for a poorly made mattress in the wrong size. There was ZERO attempt by the manager to offer any kind of help. Nothing. I'm furious. My next step will be to contact Sealy directly and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. But my advice is: don't buy at Value City. If something goes wrong, they don't give a damn.
Poor quality of much of the furniture. Sales people lounging around. Rude. Advertise leather. 2 choices in that. Waste of my time.
