The restaurant and rooftop bar was fantastic. However I didn't realize that you had to valet park when booking the room which added quite a bit to the price of of the stay. When I said that I would park in the street I was told by the valet staff that I'd be towed (not true on weekends). They demanded I turn over my keys while I unloaded and then charged me $10 and were rude about it when I complained as that was half the charge for parking there all day. I tried to get the hotel to reimburse me for that since I parked in the street that night for free with no problem but they couldn't as there was a separate arrangement for the valet service. So I went elsewhere the next day. Merry Christmas! I'll be back for the restaurant though that staff was very courteous!
I attended a sponsored meeting at the hotel. While parking garage information was given, I found reliable street parking. The entrance was nice and facility staff were helpful. We were told the event was 'sold out'. Our meeting room was full, but you could navigate the space without trouble. Our meeting included food catered from the hotel. Wait staff were efficient, collecting dishes from the table and room. Afterwards we enjoyed relaxing in The Heights bar located at the top of the hotel. The view that evening was clear and spectacular. The space had fewer wait staff, but people receiving food and drinks seemed satisfied.
Everyone at The Renaissance is so friendly and helpful! The valets/shuttle drivers were so great, the wait staff amazing, and concierge was excellent. We had fantastic food at the brimhouse, and delicious drinks and fun service at the Heights. Our room was great, we loved the shower and the view. I was so glad we chose the Renaissance!
When I arrived at Brim House restaurant, there was no one in place to greet me, so I stood near the bar until finally a gentleman greeted me. Once I was seated everything improved from there. I ordered a house salad which was good. I then followed up with a 1/8 oz. Bistro Steak with White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. The food was on point and the service was awesome. I plan to return.
Lovely experience and this hotel. Very courteous and helpful staff. The room was clean, and new furnishings. We loved the barn-style doors on the shower. The restaurant was delicious and we stopped into the fitness center which had a few more pieces of equipment than we typically expect.
