I have been seeing Dr. Grubb since 2003 and have always been very pleased with my visits. Dr. Grubb over the past few years has experienced loss' that were very close to him and one of those losses was his wife. Doctors are human and have very bad days when the losses do come back to haunt them.
To the young lady who drove the 8 hrs to see him and didn't get any answers and left more confused. I'm sorry you didn't get to see Dr. Grubb while he was in his normal state of mind I guess you can say. He really does spend the time and answer questions that you may have. This isn't a normal behavior for him at all. The reason why he runs behind is because when he's with new patients he normally takes all the time he needs to explain what's going on and fully answering any questions.
Don't waste your time seeing him!!! Drove 8 hours for an appointment, he was 2 hours behind schedule so sat in waiting room for 2 hours. No apology from him or office staff. He spent less than 30 minutes with me and didn't explain anything, didn't ask if I had questions, didn't order any tests, did absolutely NOTHING. I was told when I booked an app with him (which I waited a year for) that my app would be atleast one hour long. It was obvious he wanted to get done with me so he could go home (I was the last app). I left there extremely upset and confused as to how this guy is so popular because he honestly was one of the WORST doctors I've ever seen. Save yourself the trip to see him!!
